Maple Sugaring 2022 Demo and Open Sugar House Details

Stop by and take in the sights and smells of maple syrup making. Sample a few different grades of maple syrup and discover which one is your new favorite. Learn about how and why maple syrup became an important part of New England heritage.

The evaporator is wood fired (and hot parents, watch those kiddos when near it), and needs maple sap from the tree to boil. The evaporation is at the whim of mother nature; meaning if there isn't a "run", (nights that dip below freezing, and days that warm above freezing and are sunny that creates a "run" of sap from the maple trees) of sap, then boiling won't be happening. We will be open regardless to view and explain the sugarhouse. Admission to our sugar house is free at this time, we encourage you to browse our pop up shop within for items from our farm that you may like to try, if not that's ok too we are here to educate the public on aspects of our livelihood, agriculture. There will be maple syrup, honey, along with many other local and gourmet pantry items and limited produce for sale, including the Evercrisp apple! (While our supply lasts). Due to the size of the area we limit the amount of guests in to 10 (or 3 families) at a time, your patience is appreciated. A typical visit on average is around 30 minutes, there is an outdoor clean portolet available for public use. Parking is in the driveway only, or park downtown and walk the sidewalks of Woodbury. At this time, we are not accepting groups over 10 persons. We do not offer any other visit times/days other than the weekends in February and March listed between the hours of 1pm and 5 pm. The sugar house location is a SEASONAL location for our farm, ONLY open February and March.
